Intermediate Service for a 2021 Porsche Macan S at Murtha Motorsports

We were pleased to be able to perform an intermediate service for a customer's 2021 Porsche Macan S. This particular vehicle is finished in the unique and eye-catching Mamba Green color, which adds an extra touch of style to its already sleek design.

The Porsche 2021 Macan S intermediate service is a routine maintenance procedure recommended by Porsche every 40,000 miles or four years, whichever comes first. This service is designed to keep your vehicle running smoothly and efficiently by thoroughly inspecting and maintaining its various systems and components. During the intermediate service, the following tasks may be performed:

  • Engine oil change: This is an important step in maintaining the health of your engine. Fresh oil helps to lubricate the moving parts of your engine, reducing wear and tear and helping to keep it running smoothly.

  • Brake fluid change: Over time, brake fluid can become contaminated with moisture and other contaminants, affecting its performance. Changing the brake fluid helps to ensure that your brakes are working properly and can provide consistent stopping power.

  • Cabin air filter change: The cabin air filter helps to remove dirt, dust, and other contaminants from the air inside your vehicle. A dirty or clogged filter can affect the air quality, so it's important to replace it regularly.

We used Motul premium engine oil and the factory PIWIS 3 tool to complete the intermediate service. Motul is a highly respected brand in the automotive industry, known for producing high-quality oils that help to keep engines running smoothly and efficiently. The PIWIS 3 tool is a diagnostic tool used by Porsche dealerships to accurately scan the vehicle for faults, reset the service reminder, and troubleshoot any issues. In addition to these tasks, the intermediate service may also include inspections of the suspension, steering, and exhaust systems and a visual inspection of the vehicle to identify any potential issues.

In addition to providing performance tuning services, Murtha Motorsports offers a range of other maintenance and repair services for old air-cooled and late-model Porsche vehicles. So if you need factory-scheduled maintenance or repairs, be sure to give us a call. Our team is ready and willing to help keep your vehicle running at its best, providing an excellent alternative to dealership service.
