Murtha Motorsports Upgrades a Porsche 992 Turbo S Cabriolet for Improved Performance
The 2022 Porsche 992 Turbo is already an impressive car, but we always look for ways to improve vehicles at Murtha Motorsports. That's why we recently installed Capristo Sports Cats and CSF Racing Intercoolers supplied by our partners at Vivid Racing on this Porsche 992 Turbo S and then finished the project with the M-Engineering M-Tuner Suite ECU Tuning package. Let's take a closer look at how these components improved the performance of this classic sports car.
CSF Racing Intercooler
The CSF Racing Intercooler reduces the temperature of the air charged into the engine for improved engine performance. This intercooler is made from lightweight aluminum and has been designed to fit perfectly in place of your stock intercooler without any modifications or special tools required. It also features a large core size, which increases efficiency and helps keep temperatures low even during long track sessions.

Capristo Sports Cats
Next, we installed the Capristo Sports Cats to replace the factory catalytic converter with ones that flow more freely to improve turbo response. They are designed to maximize the flow of exhaust gases while still effectively reducing harmful emissions. This allows for increased horsepower and torque while still compliant with emissions standards. The Capristo Sports Cats also have a unique exhaust tone that will give your vehicle an unmistakable sound when you hit the gas.

M-Engineering M-Tuner Suite ECU Tuning Package
Finally, Murtha Motorsports finished this project by installing an M-Engineering M-Tuner Suite ECU Tuning package. This allowed us to optimize parameters such as ignition and fuel maps so that all these parts could work together seamlessly. This step was crucial to ensure optimal results after all our hard work!
