Murtha Motorsports Installs BBi Autosport Street Cup Roll Bar in Porsche 981 Cayman 981 GT4
At Murtha Motorsports, we are grateful for the opportunity to work with repeat customers like Mike, who recently brought his Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 to us in preparation for a track weekend. Mike has previously trusted us with his 991.2 GT3 RS, and we are honored to continue serving him with top-quality performance upgrades. For his Porsche 981 Cayman 981 GT4, we installed a BBi Autosport Street Cup Roll Bar and Schroth Racing Harnesses. Let’s take a closer look at these upgrades!
The installation of the BBi Autosport Street Cup Roll Bar provides additional safety and chassis rigidity when driving on the track. The Satin Black powdercoat finish gives it a subtle appearance that fits with the car’s interior, making it look like an original part of the car. These roll bars are designed for daily drivers and are ideal for those who enjoy taking their cars out on track days or autocross events. In addition, they can be used as mounting points for harnesses and other safety equipment.
In addition to installing the roll bar, Murtha Motorsports also installed Schroth Racing Harnesses in Mike’s Porsche 981 Cayman GT4. The Schroth Racing Harnesses feature lightweight construction and provide superior restraint during hard cornering or sudden stops. They are easy to adjust for different drivers and include quick-release buckles that make getting in and out of your vehicle much easier than with traditional seat belts. The harnesses are also FIA approved, meaning they meet all international standards for racing safety equipment, providing peace of mind to both seasoned racers and casual drivers alike.
