At Murtha Motorsports, we recently had the opportunity to enhance a striking Shark Blue Porsche 992 GT3 that arrived with a Manthey Performance Kit already installed by the dealership. This highly exclusive car stands out for its looks and incredible performance on the track.

Manthey Performance Kit:

The Manthey Performance Kit, priced at $57,300, brings several enhancements to the 992 GT3:

Aerodynamics: Features a larger spoiler lip and side flaps for increased front axle downforce and a swan-neck rear wing with a Gurney flap for improved rear-end stability.

Suspension: Includes a four-way adjustable coil-over suspension with increased spring rates—10% at the front axle and 7% at the rear.

Braking: Comes with braided steel brake lines and the option for racing brake pads.

Weight Reduction: Utilizes carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic for the rear diffuser and aerodiscs on the rear wheels, reducing unsprung weight by approximately 16 pounds with optional forged wheels.

Rear Wheel Aerodiscs: These carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic aerodiscs enhance aerodynamic efficiency and reduce drag.

Performance: Shaves 4.19 seconds off the GT3's Nürburgring lap time, bringing it down to an impressive 6:55.737.

SOUL Performance Products Valved Exhaust Package:

To complement the Manthey kit, we installed a SOUL Performance Products Valved Exhaust Package with HJS catalytic converters for emission compliance and no check engine light. This exhaust system offers several key benefits:

Headers: Replaces restrictive factory headers with high-flow collectors, CNC head flanges, and performance-oriented collectors with merge spikes. This improves flow, response, and performance, resulting in a more aggressive exhaust note.

Rear Exhaust Section: This section features a bespoke muffler and an intricate design to maximize exhaust velocity and reduce drone. The system provides a higher-pitched, smooth sound with maximum flow characteristics. The exhaust gases are routed through an X-pipe that merges the exhaust flow, enhancing the sound and performance.

Sound: This system offers a more desirable sound experience with enhanced tone under all conditions. It reduces cabin drone and enhances the exhaust note, delivering an aggressive wail at wide-open throttle and a refined sound during casual driving.

Construction: Assembled in the USA from thick wall T304L stainless steel, ensuring durability and longevity, especially for track use. The exhaust valves have electronic actuators for precise control and to prevent any issues.

Emission Compliance: We opted for HJS catalytic converters to ensure compliance and avoid check engine lights.
