Porsche 992 Turbo S Brake Caliper Refinish Before Track Day at Apex Motor Club

Porsche 992 Turbo Shark Blue Brake Caliper Refinish

If you're a Porsche enthusiast, taking your car to the track is all about ensuring it's in top condition. That's why we decided to give the brake calipers on our 992 Turbo S a cosmetic refinish.

We disassembled all four brake calipers and sent them to The Wheel King LLC to be powder-coated in Shark Blue. This vibrant color looks great and adds an extra layer of protection to the calipers. The powder coating process involves applying a dry powder to the surface of the calipers and then curing them in an oven. This creates a hard, durable finish resistant to chipping, scratching, and fading.

In addition to the powder coating, we also decided to refill the brake calipers with racing brake fluid. Racing brake fluid is known for its ability to withstand higher temperatures and provide better brake performance under heavy use. This is especially important for track days, where the brakes are subjected to extreme conditions.

We're excited to say that our Porsche 992 Turbo S is now ready for a track day at Apex Motor Club tomorrow. The refinished brake calipers and upgraded brake fluid will help ensure that our car is in top condition and ready to take on the track.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the results of the brake caliper refinish. The Shark Blue color looks amazing and really pops against the silver exterior of the car. We would like to give a big thank you to The Wheel King LLC for their excellent work on the powder coating. They did an amazing job and we couldn't be happier with the results.
